Tourboat "ZEBEDEE" hull and deck will be provided with a wood replica surface, making the fiberglass hull appear to be constructed of wood.  Here the completed hull has been given a final coat of Duratec, a material similar to Bondo, which is then smoothed with a squeegee and given the wood grain texture.  The grain is particularly visible here as the undercoatings are a contrasting gray color

A small portion of the hull with the finish white paint shows the smooth and grain pattern of a wooden boat hull.  The area shown is about two foot square.  This texture will be carried out on the deck covering boards as well.  The remainder of the deck will be highlighted by simulated inlaid mahogany planking.  The cockpit sole of the boat will be finished using the standard yacht finish of teak and holly planking
