The TRYALL is built of welded 5052 aluminum, is powered by a Bill Lowe compound and a Bryan
water tube boiler.
Above: The boat when the welding had been completed, prior to painting. This top view affords a good picture of the after cockpit interior cabin and machinery spaces and pilothouse. The engine was machined and fabricated by Rolly Evans from castings and design by Bill Lowe. The engine is 3.5" & 7" X 5.5" and develops about fifteen horsepower. The oil fired boiler is a modified Bryan Boiler Model D650-300 DO. With the relatively light hull weight and the large engine and boiler the boat moves along smartly. Despite the 35' LOA the boat has been easily trailered to many meets and along the East Coast.
